Their latest success came against Grimsby Town at Deepdale as Thompson got Dale off the mark in the 17th minute. This was followed with a brace from Dagnall in the 20th and 41st minutes. Chambers pulled one back for the Mariners 2 minutes before the break only to see Dagnall secure his hat trick with a goal in the 90th minute. Rochdale 1st, Grimsby Town 23rd .

Notts County managed to edge past Rotherham United at Meadow Lane, but left it late to do so. Rodgers netted the only goal of the game in the 90th minute to keep County on course for automatic promotion. Notts County 2nd, Rotherham United 4th .

AFC Bournemouth managed to get back in to the automatic promotion places with a 2-0 win over Accrington Stanley at Dean Court. Feeney set the Cherries on their way with a close range effort in the 18th minute, and then set up Pitman to secure the win with 11 minutes to go. AFC Bournemouth 3rd, Accrington Stanley 14th .

Chesterfield , along with many of the other play-off hopefuls, had a bad day at the office. Hereford United virtually guaranteed their league Two status for another season with a 2-1 win over the Spirites at Saltergate. Jervis (48th min pen) and Pugh (63rd min) only drew a response from Conlon in the 81st minute from the penalty spot. Chesterfield 5th, Hereford United 17th .

Bury slipped up at Gigg Lane to play-off rivals Aldershot Town . A Donnelly brace in the 30th and 56th minutes gave the Shots a great platform for the win, with a solitary response from Bishop with 3 minutes to go. Bury 6th, Aldershot Town 7th .

Slipping out of the play-off picture for the moment is Northampton Town whose recent fine run of form came to an abrupt end as they could only draw against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank. Saunders gave the Imps the lead in the 54th minute with Johnson salvaging a point for the Cobblers 6 minutes from time. Lincoln City 18th, Northampton Town 8th .

Dagenham & Redbridge are 4-points off a play-off place following a 3-3 draw at Valley Parade against Bradford City . A Hanson brace in the 2nd and 67th minutes gave City a 2-goal lead before Nurse hit back in the 69th minute. A Williams own goal in the 75th minute restore parity with Kendall restoring the home sides' advantage with 8 minutes to go. The points were shared when Oliver levelled for the Daggers in the 91st minute. Bradford City 16th, Dagenham & Redbridge 9th .

Morecambe managed to see off Torquay United at Christie Park with a 2-0 win. Mullin gave the Shrimpers the lead in the 8th minute, but then had to wait until the 91st minute when Stanley put the result beyond doubt. Morecambe 10th, Torquay United 21st .

Shrewsbury Town are rapidly slipping backwards and now have their work cut out if they are going to gain a play-off place. Their cause was not helped with a 2-0 reverse at home against lowly Darlington at the New Meadow. Purcell gave Darlo the lead in the 8th minute with Diop securing the win with 3 minutes to go. Too little too late for Darlo? Shrewsbury Town 11th, Darlington 24th .

Burton Albion and Barnet had to settle for a share of the spoils at Underhill in a 1-1 draw. Pearson gave the Brewers the lead in the 18th minute, with Hughes levelling in first half stoppage time. Barnet 19th, Burton Albion 12th .

If Port Vale are serious about making the play-offs they need to overcome the likes of Crewe Alexandra to do so. Miller gave the Alex all 3-points with a 60th minute penalty for the visitors. Port Vale 13th, Crewe Alexandra 15th .

Macclesfield are almost safe for another season in League Two, but left Cheltenham Town looking over their shoulders at Moss Rose. Wright scored the only goal of the game in the 89th minute to secure the points. Macclesfield 20th, Cheltenham Town 22nd .
