York result put to bed - Taylor

Taylor was arguably the best player on Wednesday night as the team missed a handful of first half chances but went down to three second half goals in the first round replay.

He todl todays Tiser: "The two halves were like chalk and cheese really. In the first half we were quite good and we had three golden opportunities and didn't score them but in the second half they punished us.

"I set up three good chances in the first half so it was very positive for me but in the second half I didn't get involved as much and it turned out to be a really disappointing game." Taylor added.

"It wasn't a good result for us but we can't get down. Everyone wants to go far in the FA Cup and have a good run but it wasn't to be. We have to try and forget about this and push on and concentrate on the league and we're determined to get the points from Crewe on Saturday."
