Would-be Millers buyers wait for contact

Many rumours are doing the rounds on our messageboards and supporters know of at least one concrete bid, with former Director Dino Maccio heading a consortium believed to be backed by C.F. Booth Ltd.

Administrator Jeremy Bleazard was set to rule the roost over what we believe to be five bids to buy the club today, and the preffered bidder could expect a call shortly to open discussions of a takeover.

Boss Mark Robins, speaking after Saturday's win over Dagenham, explained to the Star: "It gives everyone at the club belief and hope that we can go forward.

"It's a big step along the way and now let's hope something is sorted out satisfactorily. I shall be seeking a meeting with the administrator because there are things to ask and players want questions answered."

MillersMAD will keep you posted with any further developments.
