Williams happy to stay if needed

Williams made just one sub appearance in the game at Swindon in early September before cutting his loan spell short, but he returned from Reading two weeks ago after treatment on a leg injury, starting his first game in the weekend win over Bradford City.

And the former Eastleigh man, here until January, says he's grateful for the opportunity.

“I spoke to Brian McDermott at Reading on Monday and it was nice to hear from him. I’m hoping Reading will want me back as I want to play as high as I can," he told the Star.

“But I’m very grateful Rotherham have given me the chance to get games and it will help me in the long run. If I ended up staying here until the end of the season, I would be happy with that.”
