With a 6 game ground ban hanging over Steve Evans, the club and himself are looking at getting around the problem of not having the gaffer watching the match live in the touchline.

Evans explains to the 'tiser whats happening; “We are trying to arrange to get the matches screened live to me at home and we should know more about that later today, but as things stand I will be going to Wimbledon tomorrow to check on Rochdale."

“I'll be with the team until lunchtime. We'll have our prematch meal as normal and chat about the game and finalise our tactics and then I'll be in a fast car. Minute by minute, I will know what is going on during the game. It will be business as normal for Paul Raynor and the rest of the staff. Paul knows what he is doing and as during all matches, he will be able to see the changes that need making.” he said.

Evans spoke about the FA's decision which also includes a £3k fine;  “I'm very disappointed but the support I have had this week has been fantastic, The chairman just said 'get on with your job' and the supporters have been terrific."

“It just endorses why I decided to come here in the first place and has made me doubly determined to deliver for this football club.”

“Training has been good this week. The players know they let themselves down and they are champing at the bit to play. “Torquay and Rochdale are two big ones for us and six points will light the place up again and put us in the top three or four.” he added.
