Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Steve Brailey from Sheffield International Venues who own Don Valley Stadium says that they are pleased to be the new (albeit temporary - Hopefully) home of the Millers.

"Rotherham approached us some time ago, Tony Stewart asked if it was possible to play at Don Valley Stadium and we were happy to help. Obviously thier first choice was to get a deal to stay at Millmoor, we've not been party to those discussions - they've obviously fallen through and they approached us again yesterday and we're delighted to welcome them."

"Initially the club will play at DVS next season but we're happy to continue the arrangement for as long as they want to stay playing here."

"We've got a history of catering for major events for a number of years, we're used to maximising our community activity around major events so we've got a track record of staging events. We have staged football at the stadium before but obviously hosting Rotherham United will be different and we look forward to it next year."

With the Millers exiting Millmoor, the club have also lost use of Hooton Lodge training ground, Brailey was asked if DVS had facilitys the club could use; "At this stage what Rotherham have an agreement with us to stage thier first team and reserve team home fixtures here at Don Valley." he answered.

MillersMAD understands that the club have looked into training at the Auroua.

There is also the matter of the matchday staff at Millmoor and sale of match tickets, "Again I'm not quite sure what arrangements the club have made for thier staff, wether we would have to have additional staff to cater for that, we will need additional stewards on matchdays but have to enter more details discussions with Tony and his team at Rotherham in the next week or so."

"Again with tickets, It is something we could do but we'll have to discuss with Tony. We're capable of doing that if they want us to." Steve added.

"It's great news for us, Football will put us in the news on a weekly basis."
