After searching for a manager for 2 weeks, the club finally appointed the winner of both MillersMad polls - Ronnie Moore on a 3 year deal yesterday.
Speaking to the Advertiser after the rushed announcement, Paul Douglas said; "We're delighted with the decision, it's great news for this club."
"It has been a tough process. Had there not been so many top calibre candidates we'd have given him the job three weeks ago-but he went through the interview process like everyone else and I'm made up for Ronnie.
"He's got the job of taking us out of this division and into League One and we are all certain that he can do it." Tony Stewart added.
