We'll stick together to get back on track - Harrison

The Millers are left looking at a play-off place after three consecutive losses.

Midfielder Harrison has been having one of his best seasons since joining the Millers from Tranmere in 2007, and is hoping the team can reverse the recent run of results at Morecambe on Saturday.

Danny spoke to the Advertiser this week saying how the mistakes have to stop, saying: "It's an important period and we've got to stick together and keep working as we are. That's the only way we're going to get to where we want to get.

"One of the things we were saying in the dressing room after the Aldershot game is that we've got to put a wedge in it and stop the rot. Losing three on the trot is nowhere near good enough promotion form. We know that but we're trying to be as upbeat as we can. We know we've not been good enough and the mistakes have got to stop.

"The thing is, we can't be doom and gloom in the position we're in. We've still got six games left. It's a vital part of the season and we can't afford to be too down.

"As much as it's hard to look at coming off a 3-0 defeat, we've got to look at the positives and we've got to move forward."

With the third spot and the automatic promotion that goes with it looking less likely, the play-offs loom for the Millers as Harrison added: "We want the top three but the ultimate aim was always to go up by whatever means, If that is via the play-offs then so be it although it's a bit of a lottery and we don't want to be in it.

"We've had a bit of a rude awakening and we don't want to slip out of the other end. Whatever happens, there is no way we will slip out of the playoffs. It's all about tomorrow now.

"Morecambe is not the most glamorous of places, so we really have to show a lot of character and grit and determination there and it's imperative we bring something home.

"The disappointing thing about Aldershot is that it was nowhere near a 3-0 game. Individual errors cost us and we are really disappointed that the last five goals we've conceded we've near enough given them away. We're not doing much wrong team wise and we're not a million miles away."
