We'll be fresh - Evans

The Gaffer looks ahead to tomorrows game against fellow promotion candidates Exeter City and after a week of training is hoping the result quietens a few critics.

“I said before the Cheltenham game that if we lost people would be saying we were rubbish and promotion would be out of the window. Let them tell us that, We'll just go quietly back on the training ground and work hard and hopefully get the form back."

“In the last few weeks we have been outstanding. No-one on the planet could understand how we lost to Dagenham and we were solid and industrious at Wycombe and Southend. “

The team will be freshened up to have a real go against Exeter. We were poor at Cheltenham, we put our hands up to that collectively and now we need to collectively get it right on Saturday.

"We want six points from the next six. We know how tough it is to win on the road and we have been relatively successful in it, but we have let ourselves down at times at home and we need to address that now. It's results time and you have to win games."

Evans has Kari Arnason back available after suspension and goalkeeper Scott Shearer is pushing for a return between the sticks.
