We won't be rushing Brogan back - Robbo

Last updated : 19 December 2008 By Bigrich.....
Stephen was injured back in Febuary in a clash with MK Dons keeper Willly Gueret and has been getting himself fit over the last few months and is now doing fitness training in an effort to get his leg back upto full strength.

There were initial hopes that Stephen could be back in action by Christmas, but an operation to remove some screws from his leg has delayed that by a while, and boss Mark Robins told todays Tiser that he wont be rushing him back.

"We don't want to put a time-scale on it. If we do that and Stephen doesn't meet it, he will be disappointed."

"It's a mental battle as much as anything else. We're trying to help him as much as we can and it's just a matter of keeping focussed." he added.
