We were poor at the back, and that includes me - Warrington

Although Warro saved a penalty in second half of the 6-4 win, the stopper says he was far from happy with the first half showing at the back.

Talking to todays Tiser he said: "The fans were singing my name after I saved the penalty but I still came off disappointed because of the first half with the goal.

"The ball was played through and I honestly thought it was closer to their man that what it was. As soon as I backed off I realised that it was not and I won't pretend otherwise. Things like that happen but hopefully not too many. I'll put it down to just one of those 45 minutes.

"We were awesome going forward but very, very poor at the back and I include myself in that because I was at fault for the goal.

"As a goalie of course I'd rather win 2-0 than 6- 4 but it happens. We said at half time that we could still win it and we came out and from minute one we were at them. We knew we had goals in the side and we knew we could do it.

"At the end of the day it was three points and that's what it is all about and if we had cut out the individual mistakes it would have been an unbelievable performance."

Ahead of the game at Hereford tomorrow, he added: "We had a slow pre season results wise but we have started the season really well with two wins and a draw in the league and now we have to make sure we push on from here.

"It would be great if we did it automatically and not have to go through all that again. We can't look too far ahead. I think sometimes we do look too far in advance. We've just got to take it game by game."
