Smallwood spoke to the Millers official site and insists the team just need a little luck along with thier efforts to get more victorys.
"The improvement in the performances is very clear recently and we are just needing a little luck at the moment, I feel with the way we have been playing we deserve to have a few more victories on the board, but we can take confidence from playing well."
"I know I have to be at the top of my game and do the business on the pitch to keep my place in the side but I feel I'm doing that at the minute and long may it continue. It's a tough league and we were under no illusions how hard it would be as a lot of games are decided by fine margins or that little bit of quality." he added.
