We let everybody down - Captain Coughlan

The Millers were battered 3-0 against a Bury team managed by former Millers boss Alan Knill.

Yet again the Millers play-off ambitions took a dent as a toothless display produced nothing for the fans to cheer - many of them leaving well before the final whistle.

Speaking to the 'Tiser, Coughlan could only apologise; "It's really embarrassing and disappointing, I feel for the manager. He does his best and then we hand him a performance like that."

"It's just not good enough or acceptable. If he could have done, he would have changed 1 to 11. What more can I say? The manager has brought us all in and he's stuck his name to us all. He deserved much better than that." he added.
