Even the gaffer admitted that he would try to sign him on a permanant basis..

But the 31 year old has joined MK Dons, with the gaffer telling the Advertiser why he didnt sign for the Millers.

“For us to sign any player, everybody in the group has to agree, Not everyone agreed so it didn’t happen. We never got as far as offering Will a deal." Warne confirmed.

“I don’t have full autonomy on signings. It’s a democratic approach that we have at this club. There are a lot of people involved in the decision, not just my immediate staff.” he added.
