We dont want any replays - Robbo

Millers boss Mark Robins looks towards this weekends potential banana skin game against Forest Green Rovers in the FA Cup 1st round this Sunday, but he is looking to win the tie without the need of a replay.

Speaking to the Advertiser, Robins said; "We want to finish it first time. We don't want any replays at this stage of the season, The league is our priority and there's the usual risks of injuries if we have to play an extra game."

"We're going well at the moment and we need to take the confidence from the last few matches and go down there and impose ourselves."

"Forest Green will fancy their chances. They're in good form and they've got a lad up front, Stuart Fleetwood, who is scoring a lot of goals. I know they'll be up for it and we've got to be as well."

"If we go thinking we've only got to turn up to win, we're in trouble. I don't want anyone taking this lightly and that's what I'm hammering home to the players."

With the Millers going well in the League, Robins is well aware that the cup could well be a distraction, but insists a cup run is good for the club. "The cup is completely different. It's a one-off. It's a long time since we had a cup run and it's important to do well to bring in much-needed revenue and maybe land a big club in the third round. This draw could have been worse for us. Forest Green like to play football and it's a decent playing surface down there." Robins said.

Should the game finish all square the replay at Millmoor will be held on Tuesday, November 20th with a 7.45pm kick off.
