We don't want a replay - Scott

The Millers travel to take on Shrewsbury in their second round affair, with the home side in excellent recent form on their own patch.

But Scott said to the 'Tiser today: “We don't really need a replay. We want to win first time and may take a few more chances than we would in a league game to try and get the win because December is a busy time and having another match is not ideal.

“I'm happy about the draw. The pitch is nice so it's a decent place to go and play football. We want to get back to winning ways and start another unbeaten run. Clearly, if we can beat Shrewsbury away then we can take real confidence going to Hereford next week.

“We've done well away from home and scored a lot of goals and looked dangerous going forward and maybe it suits the way we're set up to play. We've a lot of away games in December; it's a ridiculous schedule, but we've got to make the most of it and pick some points up and getting a good win and then possibly landing a good draw and having that to look forward to is motivation enough to go and get a result.

"We want to get in the third round, not just for the players to showcase their talents against a bigger team, but for the club to generate some money and a share of the limelight", Scott added.
