Izzy Brown has recalled by Chelsea and sent straight back out on loan to Championship rivals Huddersfield Town.

The 19 year old made 20 appearances for the Millers, and speaking to the clubs official site today, Izzy thanked caretaker boss Paul Warne.

“I texted Warney today to say that I was going to miss him, We were close, he used to text me most days and I think he is a really good guy and a great man. I really hope that he can keep Rotherham up because he really cares about the club and is fighting hard to stay in this league. I am really thankful to him because he really worked hard with me when I was there.” Brown said.

“I have enjoyed every moment of my time at Rotherham, Even when the manager changed and I was out of the team for three or four games, I was still happy to be part of the squad because all the boys are great lads and the coaching staff are great people as well. I have a lot of love for the club."

“It has been a different experience for me and an important learning curve in my development. After being at Chelsea, to then come out and get into the Championship you realise that football isn't easy, we had to fight for everything at Rotherham and to have that mentality is only going to be good for me.

“The goal against QPR was one of my best moments and one of my best games. We were having a tough run so to get the win was extra special. The other highlight was the game against Nottingham Forest which was probably my best game.

“I will miss playing at the AESSEAL New York Stadium because the fans warmed to me and showed me a lot of love and support. I am thankful of that because it really helped me settle in.”
