Warne unhappy with defeat at Bolton

“My overall emotion is of disappointment,” Warne told the clubs official website..

“There were times on the ball when we didn’t make the right decisions. We never created enough chances for us to win a football match. On another day, one of Semi headers from a corner may go in but it never dropped for us in the box. That’s no excuse as we have to create more chances than that."

“The way Bolton play is they hassle you and they get it up to the front two and get ready for the second ball. I’d have liked us to pass the ball better but you have to give credit to the opposition. It’s a pity we did not get our noses in front as I think we started the better. At crucial moments, in both boxes, we were not good enough.”

“We have all got to try and get better because we want to win football matches but the lads’ effort is unquestionable, We have been playing well on the road recently. I asked the lads to win their personal battles. Some did, some didn’t, that’s the way it is."

“It’s very disappointing to lose but it’s our job to pick them up again for Bristol. We want the side to defend a little better and have a little more confidence on the ball. When we pass the ball and move it, we are more than a good opposition for any team in this league.”
