With a host of other clubs looking to secure Adeyemi's services, Warney is looking elsewhere to cover his back.
"Ideally I would like to bring five players to the club, If one of those has to be a long term loan, then so be it. I think we need three strikers to add to what we have got, I am looking for a goalscoring midfielder to replace Tom Adeyemi and support Lee Frecklington in that role." Warne told the clubs official website.
“We possibly need one or two centre-halves. I would say five signings, maybe six would be ideal.”

I just need to improve our goalscoring threats, so as soon as I can get the current deals concluded, then the sooner I can put my full concentration into other areas."
"I am taking the lads to Austria in early July and ideally I would take my 20 man squad all together then. I know life isn't as perfect as that but I would like to think that the majority of my signings will be in then because what we do in pre-season is crucial.
