The Nigerian has signed a 3 year deal with the Millers for an undisclosed fee,

During his time at Brentford, the former Everton youth-teamer appeared in nine official matches and spent a portion of last season on loan at  Exeter City.

Ogbene played for the youth teams of Tramore Athletic, College Corinthians and Kilreen Celtic before transferring to Everton.

In 2015, he moved to Irish club Cork City, whom he represented in the UEFA Youth League in 2016, before he was snapped up by Limerick the following year.

Speaking to the Advertiser, boss Paul Warne said of the signing; "He gives us electric speed, which is what I want, He can play in a three up top if we need him to and he can also play in a position which lets me play with a midfield four. It's a win-win for me."

"He brings a lot of attributes. He's not dissimilar to Matt Olosunde really, I think. We just need to help him on certain aspects of his game. In fairness, most of the players we sign are that sort of project."

"Hopefully we'll get the best out of him and the fans will enjoy watching him run up and down," Warne added.
