Warney may have to get his boots on with the issues he faces at present..

Tom Adeyemi and Semi Ajayi will both sit out the game as theyre not allowed to play against thier parent club. However that means new signing centre-half Joel Ekstrand is in place to make his debut for the Millers.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington again is expected to miss the game through injury while Danny Ward is only rated at 50/50 to be fit.

Meanwhile, boss Paul Warne expects a tough game from the Bluebirds and former boss Neil Warnock; “They are in a good vein of form. They're a big, strong team and they've got pace up front,”

“Cardiff know how we play and I know they'll be diligent on all our set pieces. They'll be hard to beat but we need to get our away form going and I hope our lads can take something from the last 135 minutes – the second half against Blackburn and the performance the other night against Huddersfield."

“We're low on numbers but we'll do what we always do and set the team up to try and win.”
