Ward expected to face Pigs

Ward came off during Tuesdays defeat at Fulham and consequently had an x-ray on this wrist, the result was no break so the 26 year old should be fit to face the Pigs tomorrow.

"It was an awkward fall (at Fulham),” Warne told Millers Player HD.

“I have spoken to him today and he says it is a bit sore, but I said to him even if his hand had fallen off then he is still playing. The X-ray came back and there is no break, he will have an MRI to make sure if he does play there are no long term issues to his wrist. As it stands he is happy, he says he will play no matter what.”

Izzy Brown is a doubt due to a hamstring problem suffered again during Tuesday nights game, he has spent the week at Chelsea for treatment and wants to play, Warne told Millersplayer; "I've spoken to him a couple of times, and he really wants to play. He knows he's in a really good vein of form and wants to be on the pitch as long as possible and we're doing everything we can to make that happen."

"I know he was out of the team for a little while but while I've been here I've brought him back with a few others. I think he enjoys playing for us and we treat him well and I feel he's a lot happier and working harder on the pitch. On the ball he's bordering on unplayable at times. He's a massive player for us."

"So, he has a chance of playing, though I don't know how good a chance. I think he'll be able to play we've just got to get the green light from the Chelsea hierarchy." he added.

Meanwhile if either dont make it, Peter Odemwingie is available again after serving a 3 game suspension for his stupid red card against Leeds.

Warne told the official site that Odemwingie wants to prove himself; "He apologised again about the sending off, he says that he owes something, He is in great shape, I had a session with Broady in the gym and he also mentioned how sharp Peter was looking. Peter is pushing for a place and big games like this obviously won't faze him.”
