In a move which breaks the Millers record for an incoming transfer fee, Vaulks moves in a deal which could be worth upto a reported 3.5 Million quid.

Vaulks made 137 appearances, scoring 17 goals for the Millers, and was a popular player both within and outside the club, being an ambassador for the Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice, a role he won the EFL community player of the season for.

He fell in perfectly with boss Paul Warne's philosophy of only wanting 'good humans' around the club, and depsite being sad to see him go, Warne only speaks highly of the 26 year old.

“Will leaves Rotherham United having made a huge contribution both on and off the field. He has become a very popular figure at the club and within the local community. He has epitomised everything about how I wanted Rotherham United to play during my time as manager, and has been a joy to coach." Warne told themillers.co.uk

“He has given me 100% week in, week out and thoroughly deserves his opportunity to play in The Championship. His rise from non-league to where he is today says everything about the guy and his desire to succeed. He is a shining example to any young pro. His day-to-day attitude has been first class, and we wish him all the best at Cardiff where I’m sure he’ll be a huge success under Neil and his staff." he added.

Vaulks signed a 3 year deal with the Bluebirds and all at MillersMad wish him all the best.
