Speaking to Millersworld, Breck was delighted to capture yesterdays deals as Mark Hudson and Peter Holmes joined on two year contracts.

Elsewhere, he expressed desire to bring in yet further fresh faces to add to the squad next week.

"I've admired Mark Hudson for quite a while and we're really surprised that Huddersfield released Mark, Peter Holmes is another player I have watched and admired, they are both hungry to do well and prove clubs wrong that they have been released" said Breckin - "we welcome them both to the club and they are two good signings.

"We hope to have some more new signings next week - we want to strengthen at the back and also up front and hope to make an announcement early next week.

"The Carling Cup game is a massive boost for the club, what better than Sheffield Wednesday, it's great for the town and great for our supporters, it's just been a great week. Myself and Mark keep nipping down to the ticket office to see how season ticket sales are going and to have sold over 1500 is great. To think what the club has gone through and for the people to back us is fantastic news.

"If there's any one out there that's thinking of buying a season ticket, get yourself down to Millmoor, it all goes to help us strengthen the squad and give us a team we can be proud of."

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that with the addition of more midfield men that Justin Cochrane may be about to leave, the 'Tiser reports he's in discussions with Leyton Orient. Pablo Mills could also be another one to head out of Millmoor following the clubs relegation.
