Tonge has started the last two home games in that position and spoke to the Tiser, saying it's not as easy to adapt from playing on the other flank.
He explained: “Although I'm still at full-back, everything literally is opposite so I'm going to take some time to get used to it. Obviously I'd like to play a few more games and just bed down in that position and get to know the ins and outs because everything is different; body positions, the lot.
"As a team on Tuesday (against Rochdale) we had a little spell in the second half when we were on top but I thought we were second best, to be honest. It's a team game and we just have to dust ourselves down now and get ready for Barnet", he added.
