Ton up for Robbo

The gaffer takes the side into the game with Macclesfield looking to get back to winning ways, and says: "I'm proud to be manager of this club."

The sacking of Alan Knill nearly two years ago gave Robins his opportunity in management, and he continued: "A 40 per cent win average is OK but I'd prefer it to be 100 per cent. I'm working on that!

"It feels like ages since that first match against Bradford and a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then. We've just about kept our heads above water.

"Like a lot of clubs, we've had our tribulations. We hit rock bottom and now we've started to rise. There will be more difficult times to come and that's the nature of the game. It's how you come through them that counts.

"As long as you don't keep repeating mistakes then you'll be OK.

"I'm proud of what we're doing here after all the problems we've had and proud to be manager.

"Everyone is pushing in the same direction and and I want to take the club as far as I can and and hopefully oversee the move to a new training ground, a new stadium and real success on the field."
