Todays Advertiers states that the site is near to where the old cooling towers stood until being demolished last year, which was earmarked for the construction of a new bio-mass power station.
Millers chairman Tony Stewart would not comment on the site apart from saying, "This is all about bringing Rotherham United up to where it needs to be in the next 15 to 20 years. The new stadium will put Rotherham on the map. Things are moving in the right direction and the relevant people are making all the right noises. We hope to have positive news soon."
Only one problem if the report & rumour is right, the lands still in bloody sheffield!!!!!
