The club while having problems with the FSIF with payment timings, still require another £195k to complete the stand with £95,000 needed before the project can start.

Ruchniewicz talking to the Rotherham Star told that the club were looking at bringing in some interest free loans, as well as urging more fans to donate via the 'Buy a Brick - Build a Futre' campaign with the club, or the Fundraising appeal via RUST. "The fact is we will need to look to fans to raise further sums in line with what has been mentioned. The Millers board are busy trying to raise interest-free loans to boost their budget and financial planning." Ruchniewicz said.

Last week the chairman told of the frustration in the delay of the new stand and today he told that the board are working hard on getting the stand started, and re-assured fans that the new board have ambition both on and off the pitch.

Peter Ruchniewicz
"The start of June was the earliest possible start date target we set ourselves. But, we always said it could take considerably longer. Things must, however, be approached sensibly and if at all possible without putting pressure on the day to day operational budget, including the playing budget."

"The fans – and don't forget they now own over 25 per cent of the club – now have a board that has ambition. We want a stand and the club is trying hard to deliver. We want reasonable ticket prices and the club has delivered discounted prices. We want success on the field – we have appointed a good manager and put strong squad development plans in place." he added

"All the board are working hard for the fans. It's an important time and one when the club needs the supporters the most. We are at the start of what is a big step forward and the faith of supporters in what we are trying to achieve, on and off the pitch, is what will make the stand happen and, through season ticket sales, ensures we can keep our squad re-structuring on track."

Meanwhile the club's ticket office reported on the official website today that the Season Tickets are selling well, and are 12% higher than this time last season.

Existing season ticket holders have until 30th June to claim their usual seats.

Former Millers boss Ronnie Moore is looking at taking another couple of our players according to Radio Sheffield.

Moore is wanting keepr Mike Pollitt and winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce however Moore thinks he may struggle with the asking price..

So do I Ronnie, So do I.
