David Worrall, 27, was the first to sign on the dotted line this morning when he spurned interest from Ireland to come to Rotherham. The former Irish international was released by Bobby Williamson at Plymouth at the end of last season and had attracted interest from former club Shelbourne. The right sided full back also played for Blackburn and Dundee before being taken to Home Park by piggy manager Paul Sturrock.

Worrall was joined in the arrivals suite by Colin Murdock who turned down a new deal at Championship club Crewe to join The Millers. The Northern Ireland international who turned 30 last week has also played for Preston and Hibs and has commanded six figure sums for his signature in the past. The central defender played against England in March and was at Crewe for 6 months.

The final signing of the three was ex Liverpool defender Jon Otsemobor who made six appearances for the Anfield club. Another full back, Otsemobor was farmed out to Hull, Bolton and Crewe during his time with the European Champions and was influential in helping Crewe up to 8th in the league last season before their eventual slide.

The three signings today take the total incomings up to five with Gregor Robertson and Lee Williamson being the other two.

Millersmad would like to welcome all three to Millmoor.
