Thomas-Moore possible no go as Millers target Fallon

With the ongoing saga of Ronnie trying to fetch in his son Ian and Tranmere yet to get back to the club about their second bid, Ronnie Moore is now focusing his attentions elsewhere.

Talking to todays Tiser, Moore confirmed his interest in Plymouth and New Zealand International; forward Rory Fallon.

"We've had a sniff but he wants to sit tight and see what develops. I think he is waiting to see whether Swansea come in and that's a shame because I think he would have given us what we want.

"Fallon has started three games for Plymouth but I think he's ready for a change. We'll be keeping an eye on the situation."

Of his son, Rotherham chief Moore said: "Tranmere value him at £100,000 but that's ridiculous for a 33-year-old. We would probably pay that for a 23-year-old but not someone of his age.

"We have offered an amount which we think is realistic. "Ian wants to play and the speculation that Tranmere have offered him a new contract is absolute rubbish."
