The Midfielder took the Millers penalty in the weekends 2-1 win over strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge and admitted; "I think it might be the first penalty I have taken in my career, apart from penalties in shootouts."

"I told the lads in training during the week that I wanted the penalties, and I put it away well." he added.

With the Millers struggling themsleves over the last couple of months, Hudson was happy to report that team morale is good; "Training has been going well recently and there has been sharpness to it and we are all enjoying it, I think that is being shown on the pitch and people have come in like Tom Cahill and done well, so that has been a good bonus."

looking forward to this weekends local derby against Mansfield, who are precarioulsly close to being relegated, Hudson expects a tough game.

"Mansfield will be fighting for their lives and they need to win but we are starting a good run and we want to finish the season strongly, We will be looking to finish the season with four wins from four and hopefully it will show the fans that it is worth coming to see us next season."

"We have been disappointing in the last few months and we have dropped off the pace but we can still get back to those standards, and I think we have shown that over the last couple of games."
