There's severe problems we need to sort.

A poor Easter ended the Millers chances of a play off appearance this season, leaving gaffer Andy Scott to be critical of his teams defending.

“We dominated the first half but started getting deeper as a back four in the second half and didn’t keep the ball and gave away fouls. Northampton are fighting for their lives. We spoke about all the things that might happen in the second half but we didn’t act on them." He said.

“We were on the end of quite a few bizarre decisions but you’ve still got to defend your goal and we didn’t do that. We backed off and we were defending just outside our six-yard box half the time.”

“It’s pretty clear that there are severe problems that have restricted the ability of the squad, There’s no natural wingers apart from Marcus Marshall and central defensively there’s only the three (Ryan Cresswell, Nick Fenton and Luke Ashworth).

“There are areas where we’re overloaded and areas where we haven’t got enough. There will be a lot of decisions made between now and the end of the season that will be for the benefit of the football club and the team to take us forward.” he added
