"Nobody has said that anyone is unwilling to talk to anyone. We have always said from day 1 that we are willing to talk to anybody. But we would like to know whom they speak for before we talk to them." Denis claimed.
There's nothing to tell, but we have a transfer embargo - Coleman
"Nobody has said that anyone is unwilling to talk to anyone. We have always said from day 1 that we are willing to talk to anybody. But we would like to know whom they speak for before we talk to them." Denis claimed.
"Let me just put the record straight here, I did not meet with them, it was one of our board members that met with them, I did not know that the meeting was taking place, that was done through them I believe that Giles Brierley, finance director asked for a meeting. They said it they had a potential investor, he asked them who it was, but they weren't willing to give that information."
"Now if you were going out for the night tonight and you wanted somebody to baby-sit your kids, would you just invite some one in or would you want to know who was coming to baby-sit. This is our club, the club we love, and anybody who is going to get involved in it we want to know who they are"

Denis was then asked with time running out on the Millers, how picky could he be in looking for investors.?; "Over that last few weeks I have met and spent so much time going here, there and everywhere, going after people and half of them are phonies. There are one or two that we are still talking too who have proved to be who they are and there are a few people that we have sent information to, that we are waiting for them to come back to us now, but lets be real here, if someone came and said I have an investor here, he is sat on his boat or whatever he is doing but we cant tell you who he is, where do you go from there. Lets get real," he said.
"They know what they need to do, its normal business what we are asking for them to do, so let them get on with it." Coleman added.
The subject then moved onto how much manager Mark Robins is being kept in the loop; "Mark is a manager, he has got to manage the players, that's his job to do that side of things, our job as a board is to make sure that we bring in investors who are coming in for the right reasons or for the good of Rotherham United, not just to make publicity for themselves or whatever other people want to do, because believe me I have talked to some real phonies over the past few weeks and where some of these people come from has blown my mind. I don't know whether its ego trips to be involved in football clubs or what but everybody has been told the same thing."
"That rubbish today in the star tonight is complete rubbish. There has been no cash offer, no nothing. Get them to come out and prove it ask them to show you where it is. Its rubbish, absolute rubbish."
Dennis was then told that radio Sheffield had invited Dino Maccio to hold an interview but he had declined, to which Denis just said; "oh he would do."
Then Denis confirmed that the football league had imposed a transfer embargo on the club; "Yes I believe there is a transfer embargo, but we wouldn't bring anybody in at this time, so lets not even make an issue out of that we are not signing no players at the minute, you can have my word on that."
"The current board are working flat out at this, nobody is dragging their heals and I apologise to the supporters because I know a lot of people are talking and emailing asking why aren't we hearing nothing!? All I can say to that is that your not hearing a lot because there's nothing much to say at the minute. There's no point in use just coming on the radio or the paper just for the sake of giving people a story because there is no story at the minute!"
"We've one or two people that have gone the right way about things and signed the non-disclosure forms and proved the funds. But obviously they want to look a lot more into the workings of the club. There's nothing really more to tell than that. But the fans can be assured from the board that as soon as there is anything to tell then we will tell them."
Denis was then asked how long the millers had before administration could not be avoided; "like I've just said, there is no set time scale to this."
