The trainings good - Rhodes

Last updated : 14 November 2008 By Bigrich.....
With the Millers already having 4 games in November and we're only half way through, its a busy time for the players, however Alex Rhodes praises the coaching team.

"The games are coming thick and fast but the coaching staff are doing well with us, making sure we get enough rest and that we can produce the same amount we have been doing on matchdays."

"Don't get me wrong, we still train hard and the tempo is always fast but the staff know what days we need rest and what we need to do to be fresh for games."

With Rhodes only being on a 1 year deal with the Millers, the pressure is on him to earn a longer deal; "Everyone wants to nail down a place and I'm fortunate in that I've been playing reasonably well. Of course I want to prove I'm worth keeping on here but it would be the same if I was on a two or three-year deal. You always want to improve and prove to the manager that you've worth your place in the team every week."

"We've got Bradford coming to Don Valley next week and I'm looking forward to facing them, if selected. I have some good memories of the club and some good friends there but I can't dwell on the past and my only focus on the day will be to make sure we get a good result." he added.
