After a turbulant few years, 37 points deducted and a move away from Rotherham, Fenners dedicates the Wembley trip to the fans.

"With the administrations and points deductions, it's about time something positive happened to this club. Rotherham needs this. It's a working class town and you could see how happy the punters were on Wednesday night."

"The atmosphere is not ideal at Don Valley but they had the place jumping. The Sky TV cameras were there and it was fantastic. The supporters got behind us right from the start. We've still got to try and win promotion but for now we'll enjoy the moment with them." Fenton told the Advertiser.

The defence have been solid for a while, and really never looked like conceeding against Aldershot, Nick spoke about the focus in the squad; "Before the first leg, we spoke as a group about the need not to let this chance pass us by. You could see that the focus of the players in both games was fantastic, The workrate was unbelievable and the results were what we wanted, clean sheets in both games and three goals."

"On Wednesday, it was a great performance again. We were very good defensively and I mean the whole team, not just the back four. Aldershot are a good side. They're very attacking and the two lads up front are so lively. We didn't give them a sniff and we nullified them and hit them on the break."

"The boys have been brilliant and we deserve our show at Wembley. I've been there before but play-off finals are a bit special and hopefully we can get the right result there and it will be a good day. We all want the same thing. If we can achieve at Wembley it will have been a great season." he added.
