BUOYANT Mark Robins insists the best is yet to come from his side as they prepare to face surprise packets Morecambe at Millmoor tomorrow.
With nearly a quarter of the season already gone, boss Mark Robins looks back at the first 11 games and expects his team to get better!

Speaking to the Advertiser he said: "We had a solid start and we've proved ourselves as a side which is hard to beat."
"It's been well documented that we've had to build a competitive side here from scratch. Doing that has been an achievement in itself. We have managed to get together a team containing a mixture of good, young players and experienced ones. The younger ones need experience but once they get it I think you'll see a different side."

"Supporters love to see homegrown players coming through and we have plenty of them here. We had two home-grown products in Marc Newsham and Stephen Brogan on the scoresheet against Mansfield the other week and others aren't far away from breaking through."

"We have to make sure that they don't get in a comfort zone and want to fight every inch of the way for each other, but to be fair they've all got the right spirit and attitude. It's just a case of directing it."

However so far Robbo has had to do without the services of Mark Hudson who was injured in the friendly game against Sheffield United, however the midfielder who turns 27 next week is fit enough to rejoin the squad to the delight of Robins.

"He's chomping at the bit to play and he's worked his socks off to get back so quick, What we've got to make sure is that he doesn't suffer a reaction." Robins said.
