The ambition hasn't changed - Scott

The Millers alarming slide from top to 13th in the space of the past six weeks in League Two has left them 10 points behind leaders Crawley.

And ahead of tomorrows game with Shrewsbury, Scott says his commitment and ambition is still the same.

He said: "We have the ability to win the league and I still believe that We're a few points olf the top now but the ambition is to still get promoted.

"We've shown we've the quality to go and get results. Every team goes through a bad spell and we seem to be going through one early in the season and it's a bit longer than I'd like. It's probably the worst run of results I've had since I became a manager but I'm not as concerned about this squad as others I've had which haven't been on such a bad run.

"You worry about some in adversity but I don't here. The players are excellent to work with. Of course we want to get back to winning ways. The sun shines brighter when you get a good result and everyone feels better about themselves - there's every chance you can go on a decent run and that's what we've got to do."

Assessing tomorrow's opponents, Scott added: "They have had some bad results themselves recently but they're quick and direct and have a very good manager who is experienced at this level.

"We had some tough games this month and there's a couple more coming up. The sooner you get the three points, everything starts improving again."
