"While I've been here, the number of chances we've had and not stuck away has been incredible but fortunately enough we've managed to get the goal and the back lads have been brilliant, I saw the lad coming towards us and I thought he was going to dive in so I just touched it to the side and hit it—and luckily it just nestled in the back of the net."
Looking back to his first senior goal, for Aberdeen against Bayern Munich, Josh admitted that he doesnt score enough; "When you think about it, when you get your first-ever goal and it's against Bayern Munich it's a bit special—one for the scrapbook. The only problem was it was a bit of a false start.
"Coaches say scoring is something I should do more of but so far in my career I've not had a proper run of games and so I've not scored. Now at Rotherham I've managed to have a bit of a run and hopefully more goals will come."
Walker spoke about his partnership with Danny Harrison in midfield; "I think we complement each other well, if one goes forward the other will sit back a bit. We both try to get on the ball and play and work hard for the team so hopefully it's a recipe for success.
"I actually think Saturday was the worst I've played since I've been here, the pitch sometimes doesn't help but you've just got to try and keep working hard and get on the ball. Luckily I got the goal at the end."
Meanwhile boss Ronnie Moore told the 'Tiser that he's urging Walker to shoot more; "We know he's got a decent shot and he doesn't use it as often as he should do, Boro said when he came here to get on his back and get him to shoot."
Moore spoke about Saturdays goal; "It was a tremendous goal. Danny Harrison did well in the buildup and Josh showed great skill to go inside the lad and score."
