Still work to do - Evans

The Millers face bottom of the league Aldershot Town at the New York Stadium with the Shots needing a win to have any chance to survive in League 2.

Meanwhile the Millers would only need a point to gain promotion to League one if Cheltenham Town fail to win by a 6 goal margine.

Speaking to the South Yorkshire Times, boss Steve Evans warned that former boss Andy Scott's team are no mugs; “Aldershot are a decent team, But the reality is that, they were all but relegated to the Conference last weekend. But there is still a lot of hard work to be done and everyone must stay focused."

“Complacency has no place in football and when it appears, it gets punished. But our squad seem to be very focused on our objectives.

“There will be a full stadium for the Aldershot match, and our support has just been incredible all season. We need them right behind us for every minute of the match.

“They have stuck with us this season, and hopefully we can reward them."

“But I’ll say it again - we have a lot of work to do.” he added.
