Stewart disappointed in Robins decision

Speaking to todays Advertiser, Tony briefly outlined the weeks events once again ahead of the Millers game with Morecambe tomorrow.

"I told him I'd had had a phone call from Barnsley and I said: 'Do you want to go and see their chairman? "Then I told him to go away and discuss it with his wife and come back to me and let me know.

"He rang back and said he had a meeting at Barnsley at 6pm.

"I would not stand in the way of anyone but I was disappointed. I thought he would come back and say 'that job's for me but not today, because there's a job to do here at Rotherham'." Stewart said.

"If someone says I let him go, that's down to translation," he added. "I would go about it exactly the same way again."
