Of course, the MillersMAD award has yet to be decided, but Sharps, who beat fellow nominees Andy Warrington, Reuben Reid, Dale Tonge, Jamie Green and Nick Fenton to the trophy, Is a deserved winner I'm sure you'll agree.

The Scouser has made 54 appearacnes, scoring four goals in the red and white this season, picking up just five yellow cards and seeing red on one occasion.

Elsewhere, Jamie Green captured the Young Player of the Year award and the goal of the season award was picked up by Danny Harrison, for his strike against Southampton in the 3-1 Carling Cup victory at DVS.

We'll have all the reaction from tomorrow's Advertiser.
