But Scott, who brought on his main goal threat last weekend against Hereford, says it won't be long before Le Fondre is back in the fold.
"I've had a chat with Alfie and he's been working hard in training and shown me he wants to do his best.
"Sometimes as a striker it's not just about goals but it's about work rate and energy levels - he's working hard and if he keeps doing that then it won't be long before he's back in the side."
