Speaking to the Star today, the gaffer spoke about Andy's return to training after being told he is free to find another club as he isnt in his plans.

“I spoke to Andy and said I would be bringing in another goalkeeper and that he wouldn’t be first choice and, more than likely, would be third choice,” Scott said.

“The way he has handled the whole situation and conducted himself has been exemplary and full credit to him, What has been said hasn’t stopped him coming in and working hard; his attitude has been fantastic."

“He has served this club well and he wants to play, I understand that. Right now we’ve got three very good goalkeepers and it is up to him to force his way into contention. But we won’t stand in his way because I know he wants to be playing regularly.

“If he does go then he deserves to go somewhere decent and if you don’t work hard then you don’t deserve that.”

Scott confirmed that Warrington would play some part in tonights game against Sheffield Wednesday. The game is all ticket with sales stopping at 2pm.
