Scott has been seeking cover for his leaky defence and with long term injuries to Ryan Cresswell and Mark Bradley, it's been tough to find the players he's looking for.
"We are trying very hard to bring defensive players in but it's proving difficult at the moment so we are working with the players we have got here. They showed earlier in the season that they are capable of doing it so there's no reason to believe that they can't do it again," said the manager talking to Millersplayer.
Brown is back in contention for Fridays game at Bristol Rovers after returning from Welsh U21 duty and Scott added; "I spoke to him last night so he'll be in for a warm-down to make sure he's available for Friday.
"Luke Foster has played central defence so is an option but he prefers to play in midfield."
