Schofield and Raynes in line for return

Schofield has started on the bench for the last two games, but came on to play a helping hand in the win at Barrow last weekend.

Boss Andy Scott spoke to Radio Sheffield; "I spoke to Danny before the Aldershot game and said that the next two games were probably not going to be his type of game. I think that proved to be the case against Aldershot and as the game slowed down against Barrow we needed a little bit of quality."

Schofield could replace Luke Foster in midfield with Jason Taylor remaining at centre half, but there are a number of selection posers for Scott to consider including the choice of goalkeeper.

Raynes came through an hour in the reserves win over Scunthorpe at the start of the week and looks set to be involved at some stage, challenging Johnny Mullins for the spot made available by Guy Branston.

Mullins himself has been suffering with a niggling knee problem in recent weeks, but partnered Raynes at centre half in the Scunny victory.

Marcus Marshall and Ollie Banks bagged two goals each in that game givning Scott a reminder that they are knocking on the door to be involved. Who'd be a manager?...
