There was initial worries about police resources when having 2 teams playing in Sheffield at the same time, however the Millers games will continue to be policed by Rotherham based police.

The fixtures were released this Monday and the Millers will play their home games in the league at the same time as Sheffield Wednesday.

"Our home games clash with Sheffield Wednesday's but not with any other team in South Yorkshire and I imagine the police will be happy with that. There are discussions going on between Rotherham and Sheffield police about how things are going to be organised and I understand that Rotherham police will be content to continue covering our matches." the Millers cheif operating officer Paul Douglas told todays Advertiser.

Douglas told the 'Tiser that the only possible rearrangement that is being looked at so far is the home game against Accrington Stanley on 28th March next year, due to a clash with an England game. Any rearrangement will be put on the site as soon as its confirmed but it is looking like the game could be brought forward to a 1pm kick off.

Although Don Valley stadium has over 23,000 seats, the ground is only licenced to hold 10,000 for the Millers games, although it can be increased if so needed.
