Ronnie still uncertain on future

Talking to Radio Sheffield, Ronnie told us that the prospective owners of Rotherham United, Mike Worthington and Darren Millington havent spoke to Ronnie about his future at Millmoor amid massive rumours of Gazza and Bryan Robson taking over as manager.

Least he knew where he stood!
Monday night on Football Heaven Millington came on but didnt really give Moore a confidence boost, and said that "Ronnie has done a great job at Millmoor and we're not ruling him out of the equation. We've got to sit down with him and ensure that we're heading in the right direction."

Ronnie told Radio Sheffield "The disappointing thing is that they've not spoken to me yet, but you'd have thought finding time to speak to the manager has got to be a priority. But they decide to do it they'll do it, I can't be pressing them! Theyre busy men, but when they want to talk to me, they know where I am."

In better times
"But it does'nt make you feel happy and joyful, although the crowds responce did!. If they think its time to change things then its up to them to change it! But it would be nice if the new people coming in, if they have the plans that people think's they've got to give me the chance to do something with it"

To end the interview the interviewer asked Ronnie if he felt if he had been treated with a lack of respect, to which Ronnie just answered with a simple "You said that, I did'nt"

So have the new owners shot themselves in the foot already? Is it sometimes better the devil you know? and do you now have worries about the takeover?

As usual talk about it on our messageboards.
