Ronnie Moore
Moore who was talking exclusively on the record to the official Oldham clubcall line said that he wouldn't hesitate to use his knowledge of the Millers to find the players he needs to beat relegation:

"I've got one or two irons in the fire. There are one or two players there who aren't in the side. I've enquired about bringing in one on loan...he'd bring enthusiasm, experience and character."

The ex-Millers boss is trying to sign a striker and a midfielder, he has already made an enquiry about Millers midfielder Paul Warne, however Moore does'nt expect to have any deal sort before next week.

"Paul can play wide right or through the middle. He's all about energy, energy, energy. He puts defenders under pressure, and he's the kind of player the fans would like, but it won't happen before this weekend, because Rotherham are a bit short of players and they might need him. But I hope to bring somebody in over the next few days and that would hopefully mean that he is available." Moore told todays Star.

Warney
However Mansfield are still wanting Warne, and hopefully the Millers shall be able to demand a small fee for the 31 year old.

That could also mean that Rotherham could be about to bring in new loan signings with boss Alan Knill previously telling clubcall that for the time being he was being forced operate a one-in, one-out recruitment policy.

On trial Manchester United youngster David Fox could be the most likely option, though several other Premiership youngsters have been linked.
