Ronnie Fails To Rule Out Millmoor Return

Moore was told that he would not be offered a new contract following the takeover of the club by Millers 05 in January and left Millmoor after 7 years in charge.

The former Millmoor striker's name, who led the Millers from the depths of Division Three to a play off place in Division One has never been far away from the lips of a lot of Rotherham fans despite him being in work at League One rivals Oldham and a large percentage of the Millmoor faithful were against Moore's sacking.
An unlikely return?

Despite the fact that he publicly slated his former employees, Moore will be hoping that the "five wise men" will approach him with a view to returning. Talking to BBC Radio Sheffield, Moore said: " Well you can never say never in football can you? Who would have thought Harry Redknapp would have gone back to Portsmouth. I love the club and it has been a part of my life for an awful long time as both a player and a manager and the fans were absolutely macknificent to me."

With barely two days passing since Mick Harford's departure on Saturday, Moore joins a long list of names in the hat for what is an unenviable task of trying to save Rotherham from a second successive relegation, which includes fellow former players Bobby Williamson and Chris Wilder.
