Ronnie - Dissapointed at first half display

First half was Frustrating.
The Millers lost 2-1 to a very hard-working and pacey Crystal Palace tonight, Here are boss Ronnies Moores thoughts about the game.

"I'm dissapointed with our first half performance, we never started from the first whistle, but our first chance after only 14 seconds Warney should have really taken it on. but apart from that we were second best. They had the pace, ability and the quality that they've got, they're going the hurt you." Ronnie said.

"The penalty claim could have been the turning point, It was definately in the box, How the referee can say the foul was on the line was beyond me as Jody was a body width inside the box.

Ref Mark Cooper - Shit
We might not have scored the penalty but if we do then its a different ball game as we're then lifted and theyre down a bit, but they went straight down the other end and made it 2-0 instead of us having the chance to make it 1-1. We didn’t close them down on the edge of the box for the first one, Gilly could have done better as Shipperley's got away from him but could Polly have come for it? I dont know without seeing it."

"On the day we have been beaten by a better side. The goals we conceded were terrible," he said. "They were quicker and sharper than us all over the park and they're as good as anyone we've played.

"But why it took us 45 minutes to show a bit of fight is beyond me. On another night we could have fluked a second goal but we wouldn't have deserved it."

"If Gillingham had won we would be in trouble but they've have lost and there's been no damage done, The Gaps still four points, Derby still have to win twice and theyre away to West Ham on Saturday and we're at home.

But its still in our own hands,But we cannot play like we did in the first 45 minutes tonight."
